Healing the Gulf of Mexico
Daily we watch as the oil spillage worsens and the inability to stop it breeds feelings of anger and hopelessness. As we sit in our feelings of helplessness and frustration, there are things that we can do. Many of you have received e-mail messages from Dr Masaru Emoto, the well known scientist and researcher who has written extensively on the power of positive thoughts and energy to heal toxic water, just as negative thoughts and feelings pollute bodies of water. Dr Emoto, along with the Council of Grandmothers, www.grandmother’scouncil.com , have called upon us to take responsibility for the oil spill by directing our intention and prayers to the healing of the Gulf, all of the marine life and creatures who inhabit theses waters, and the millions of people who have been adversely affected by the spill. Our anger adds fuel to this incredible crisis. It is time to understand that our dependence on fossil fuels and our belief that we have the right to take whatever resources we need to enhance our own ease and comfort is, in part, responsible for this situation.
We can make a difference by directing our heartfelt prayers and intention to the Gulf. Create a vision that holds the healing and transformation of not only the Gulf, but also all of the polluted waterways throughout the world. Join us Sunday night at 7 to collectively build a body of energy that will bring healing Gulf.
For those of you in the Boston area, join us at Stagefort Park in Gloucester, MA at 7 pm, Sunday the 20th of June. For more information regarding this event, contact me at anndrake1@gmail.com
